Webinar “Endeavoring for youth-grown solutions”, jointly organised by the Regional Cooperation Council’s (RCC) Western Balkan Youth Lab (WBYL) and Employment and Social Affairs Platform (ESAP 2) Projects will take place online, on Friday, 3 July 2020.

The webinar will tackle youth (un)employment in the Western Balkans, with a special focus on Youth Guarantee Programme in the EU and possibilities of replicating this practice in the region, especially in the post-COVID19 period, in which, due to the pandemic, youth employment prospects have significantly deteriorated. The meeting will also touch upon ways of engaging young people in the policy-making processes in the region.

The webinar will gather over 30 representatives of respective line ministries in the field of youth and employment, employment agencies, youth umbrella organisations and youth councils from six Western Balkan economies. In addition to representatives of WBYL and ESAP projects, experts and representatives from the European Commission will address the topics of support to youth, youth unemployment, Youth Guarantee, etc.
