ILO ESAP 3: Improving Access to Social Protection for Seasonal Workers: Challenges and Good Practices

Within the framework of the EU-funded Employment and Social Affairs Platform (ESAP) 3 project, the ILO has published the report Improving Access to Social Protection for Seasonal Workers: Challenges and Good Practices. The report examines the barriers seasonal workers face in accessing social protection, with a particular focus on Albania in comparison with EU Member States and selected candidate countries. By identifying legal, practical and adequacy-related challenges, and by highlighting good practices from Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece, the report provides useful insights for the development of more inclusive and responsive social protection policies for seasonal workers.

Në kuadër të projektit Employment and Social Affairs Platform (ESAP) 3, të financuar nga Bashkimi Evropian, ILO ka publikuar raportin Përmirësimi i qasjes në skemat e mbrojtjes sociale për punëtorët sezonalë: Sfidat dhe praktikat e mira. Raporti shqyrton pengesat me të cilat përballen punëtorët sezonalë në qasjen ndaj mbrojtjes sociale, me një fokus të veçantë te Shqipëria në krahasim me vendet anëtare të BE-së dhe disa vende kandidate. Duke identifikuar sfidat ligjore, praktike dhe ato që lidhen me mjaftueshmërinë e përfitimeve, si edhe duke evidentuar praktika të mira nga Italia, Spanja, Portugalia dhe Greqia, raporti ofron njohuri të vlefshme për zhvillimin e politikave më gjithëpërfshirëse dhe më të përgjegjshme të mbrojtjes sociale për punëtorët sezonalë.
