The Central Eastern European Labour Legislation database (CEELex) is a legal database containing labour and industrial relations related legal texts and covering thirteen CEE countries, including the six project countries. It is continuously developed by ILO making comparative and systematized up-to-date data available to decision makers in the areas of labour law and industrial relations.
The development of the CEELex is built on the experience and know-how of various departments within the ILO with the purpose of providing a data platform to support informed policy making decisions with regard to labour and industrial relations.
Itaims to identify national legal and institutional solutions set out in the national legal systems in Central and Eastern European countries using as benchmarks the provisions of ILO Conventions: Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organize Convention, 1948 (No. 87), Right to Organize and Collective Bargaining Convention, 1949 (No. 98), Equal Remuneration Convention, 1951 (No. 100), Discrimination (Employment and Occupation) Convention, 1958 (No. 111), Labour Relations (Public Service) Convention, 1978 (No. 151), Collective Bargaining Convention, 1981 (No. 154) , Tripartite Consultation (International Labour Standards) Convention, 1976 (No. 144), Termination of Employment Convention, 1982 (No. 158).
