Employment and Social Affairs Platform (ESAP) project of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) organises a two-day regional peer review workshop on the on-the-job training programme that is to take place in Tirana on 17-18 January 2019.

The Workshop host, Albanian Public Employment Service (PES) is to share their experiences with the design, implementation and monitoring of on the job training programmes. Also, ESAP will present the main findings of a regional analysis of on-the-job training programmes in the Western Balkans at the meeting.

The event is to gather representatives of the ministries of labour and PES from each of the Western Balkan economies.

Under the ESAP project, the Western Balkan economies have agreed to implement peer reviews on selected priority employment policies or measures. Peer reviews aim to facilitate learning, discussion and capacity building on employment policy development and implementation.
