Participants in the event included officials of Public Employment Services (PES), who deal with labour market statistics. The aim of the meeting was to discuss and agree on a set of quantitative indicators to be collected for the Western Balkan PES benchmarking analysis. Representatives of PES will work together under the leadership of the RCC and ILO experts to refine the definitions and measurement procedures for the selected indicators and additional relevant and available indicators, including context related indicators that take into account differences in national institutional settings and economic conditions. The final list of proposed indicators included: the transition from unemployment to employment (Share of registered unemployed that transited to employment), the number of people leaving the PES unemployment records, as a share of the stock of registered unemployed individuals and the transition into employment within 6 and 12 months of unemployment (where available)
