2nd regional plenary meeting, dealing with tackling undeclared work in the Western Balkans through structured regional cooperation, is being organised by the Regional Cooperation Council in the framework of the Employment and Social Affairs Platform 2 (ESAP 2) project on 17 November 2020.

This online event will bring together representatives of Ministries of Labour, Labour Inspectorates and Tax Authorities from the Western Balkans, who will discuss preventative measures to tackle undeclared work. The aim of such an approach is for the Western Balkan economies to learn from each other about preventative approaches being used to tackle undeclared work, resulting in a smoother transition for informal to the formal sector. The participants will also talk about activities undertaken until now on ESAP 2 and review the future work programme.
