Sub-regional Training for Economic and Social Council Secretaries Part II
On 8 -10 May, ILO in organized a two and half-day Learning Forum for the Secretaries of the Economic and Social Councils (ESC) that have participated in the Peer Review of the functioning and effectiveness of the councils. The Learning Forum was a continuation of the training organized for the ESC Secretaries in November last year in Sarajevo.
The objectives of the training were:
- To provide mediation techniques, tools and strategies useful for the role and function of ESC Secretaries.
- To share updates of progress in the implementation of the recommendations selected by the ESCs for improving the efficiency of the ESCs.
- To report and shape upcoming ESC Information Days through joint facilitation.
