Designing Youth Employment Programmes, Lessons learned from the European Youth Guarantee, Capacity building workshops for policy-makers and practitioners

(Tirana 8-9 May, Skopje 10 – 11 May, Pristina 12 May, Podgorica 15 – 16 May, Belgrade 18 – 19 May, Sarajevo 22 – 23 May)

In cooperation with the project ‘Promoting Inclusive Labour Market Solutions in the Western Balkans’ implemented by ILO and funded by the Austrian Development Assistance, ILO organized workshops for representatives from the Ministries of Labour, Public Employment Services and Social Partners.

The workshops aimed to:

  • Review the key features of the European Youth Guarantee (YG) and distil useful lessons learnt
  • Examine the most common YG implementation modalities adopted by the EU Member States and the role played by the Public Employment Service
  • Encourage the involvement of the social partners in the design and implementation monitoring of the Youth Guarantee and related youth employment measures.
